August 2014: [Long overdue update] our parents Chris and Salote have moved across the river to Wainoni/Aranui, 20 March 2014. Unsettling as it has been for the last couple of years leading up to the moving day, ma and pa are giving it a go in the new area. They were the last ones to leave the street and watched the further deterioration and dramatic changes of the landscape in their beloved neighb

ourhood. Relieved to be part of a community again, enjoying the friendly neighbourhood and creating new memories, like everyone else they are getting on with their lives. Their kids and grandkids have returned from their respective cities regularly to give them a hand and of course, to spend quality time with them. They are happy to be developing a new garden in the front and back yards of the house in Brockenhurst Street. Loads of potential for development and its keeping them busy. It may seem like they are starting again but, seeing it as a positive fresh start. Anything is possible. The old Wattle Drive residence is due to be demolished at the end of August 2014. Old notice 2013: Our ma and pa are still actively looking for another house to purchase to replace the family home. If you know of any leads we will be happy to hear your suggestions. Preferably they would still like a 3 bedroom home, garden, garage and location: eastside, however will take suggestions outside of these parameters. Private message this page.
