While we’ve been trying our hand at furniture flipping painting hasn’t taken up as much time as it usually would.
There’s nothing quite like a facebook marketplace listing that has “potential”. Weekends and afternoons have been spent sanding and going on outings to mitre 10 and spotlight. If there’s two things I’ve learnt it’s that:
1. Get an electric sander - or be prepared to use muscles you definitely didn’t expect to (there could be a technique we weren’t using but goodness no thanks)
and
2. Choosing stains and new fabric is not as easy as one might think (being incredibly indecisive means I think we’re going to end up with 4 different looking chairs)
