We're proud to be supporting the Otago regional finals of the Young Farmer of the Year Competition this weekend. To mark the occasion, we are offering 20% off the price of Carex secta, Carex virgata and Carex dissita for orders made by Tuesday 13 February.

Carex secta and Carex virgata are great for riparian planting - stablising banks, shading waterways and decreasing nutrient runoff. Carex dissita are gorgeous when planted en masse for landscaping.

Plants are grown in PB3 bags: they are big, healthy and ready to get in the ground.

I spent time over the weekend doing some infill planting in the wetland - plugging the gaps with these Carex secta. They're lovely and big, and the w**d growth has slowed, so I haven't had to use plant guards. What a bonus!
