There's plenty to look forward to on the menu this weekend at Augustines of Portobello.
🥣 Granola
Made with our preserved Augustines apricots in Riesling syrup, apricot coulis, summer blueberries from Blue Willow Blueberries, Fairfield, Dunedin., and creamy yoghurt from Farm Fresh South.
🧇 Waffles
Served with heritage apple purée, crabapple jelly, our preserved Black Doris plums in Pinot Noir, and mascarpone cream.
🍞 Toast of the Week
Smoked mackerel, avocado cream, greens, pickles, gooseberry sauce, cornchip crunch, and jalapeños (optional!).

Sorry, toast fans - no new video this week 😭, but the Toast of the Week is back:
Apricot & Date BBQ Pork, grapefruit, pickled fennel bulb, greens, apricot ketchup, and wasabi peas.
Also in the cabinet this weekend:
• Lamingtons are back
• Apple pinwheels made with apples from our farm
• The last weekend for waffles topped with fresh feijoas and mandarins
And don't forget, we always have two gluten-free options in the cabinet, along with a dairy-free treat.
We're open from 8.30am tomorrow. Come and grab breakfast, brunch, lunch, a coffee, and something sweet for later. 🍎☕️🥐

Wow, you guys. Yesterday our new Toast of the Week was an absolute favourite. Our regulars are already calling it the best one yet and the good news is, there’s more available this weekend.
We’ve also had a fresh delivery from local potter Peter Henderson of Red Shed Pottery . His handmade cups always disappear quickly, so if you’ve had your eye on one, don’t leave it too long.
It’s also Lydia’s last weekend with us before she heads off to Germany for five weeks. Pop in for your coffee fix, a catch-up, and a chat 🥰.
Takeaways available today until sold out.
And yes... the Feijoa Danish is back again today. YUM.

The anticipation seems to be building 🎥🔥.
I've already had messages asking about this week's toast, along with several reminders not to forget the sourdough scrape😂. No pressure.
We're pleased to introduce this week's Toast of the Week:
Apricot & date BBQ pork, Morrison grapefruit, pickled fennel bulb, seasonal greens, apricot ketchup, and wasabi peas.
A quick behind-the-scenes confession: Gus delivered a perfect take while filming this video. Unfortunately, I neglected to press "record," so we had to do it all again😢.

Did you know our preserved cranberries are grown right here in New Zealand? We source them from Cranberries Westland NZ, a small family-run cranberry farm on the West Coast.

We're giving the boss a week off from filming a new Toast of the Week video, as you ALL loved last week's combination of Brussels sprouts and honey-cured bacon so much that we're bringing it back for another round.
Back on the shelves this week and made in-house: our Hot Doris Sauce and Grapefruit Marmalade.
And of course, there'll be plenty of fresh baking tomorrow, including our famous lamingtons.
We can't wait to see you all from 8.30am at Augustines of Portobello. Come hungry! 🍞☕🍰
