Nature gives us all sorts of materials. Is up to us if we use it or not and how.

Tī kōuka or Cabbage tree (Cordyline australis) leaves are very strong and I used it to keep a box together.

Also, they burn very well when dry. Making small packages works as a great Kindle to start a fire.

A small area that you haven't been working for long, is sometimes hard to go back to. That little corner you always forget. But with small things it can open a path to new opportunities, maybe a way to new places you didn't even know.
If with materials that give back nutrients to the soil, protecting the life that it harnesses even better.
