A recent commercial job we’re proud of - we supplied and installed the new glass shopfront on this warehouse conversion in Kingsland. Full-height storefront glazing plus a glazed gable-end facade, craned in and set pane by pane. Swipe to see it from the architect’s design through to the finished shopfront.

Proud of the team on this one - and internal glazing still to come, so watch this space.

A proud moment for the Haynes Glass team. Our Leading Apprentice, Max, has been selected as a BCITO Apprentice Leader - chosen to represent his trade in a national programme made up of top apprentices from across New Zealand. Max has been doing brilliant work, and we’ve shared a few recent examples here - frameless showers, a glass balustrade, a mirror install and a glass splashback. We’re proud to back him and to invest in the next generation of Kiwi tradespeople.

We are pleased to share the successful completion of a large canopy project at the Botanic Silverdale. Careful planning, hard work and precise design resulted in the installation of a visually creative, functional glass canopy encompassing the bowls green and cafe.

Key Project Details:

Glass Specifications: Viridian Supplied 21.52mm Sentry Laminated glass panels (up to 300kg)

Installation Method: Point Fixed on stand-offs, showcasing a modern touch, and ensuring both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.

Scale: Over 100 lineal meters in total length and a total glass area of 330 square metres.

Logistics: Installation required a 120 Tonne Crane to lift the large glass panels over the bowling green. Precision and experience evident as these panels were leveraged into place.

Customization: Customer Supplied Digiprint Graphics were embedded into the glass, creating a unique visual element that enhances the ambiance and adds a pleasant touch of shade.

This project is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our team and Mako Commercial. Special thanks to all involved for their dedication and expertise throughout the project.
