Tried the 'dollar note test'? If a piece of paper slides out easily when the door is closed, your door seal is too loose and your fire door is not sealing correctly.

The rope that runs around the inside edge of the fire door is important for your fires performance. It creates a seal to prevent surplus air being pulled into the fire chamber which can cause an uncontrollable burn rate.

As it is put under constant stress by opening and closing the door and from extreme temperatures, it will need replacing regularly.

You can purchase a kit to do this yourself from us, or bring your door in to us and we can complete this for you.
