Connecting through healthy shared meals with chat discussion to initiate backyard gardens to improve vege security & harvest sharing We purposely grow a lot of organic vegetables to feed many beyond our gate. We love the interaction with individuals & families from all walks of life. There is a common theme that the food struggles for many are real. Sharing what we're passionate about with all who
wish to walk our property always starts positive conversations. Vege boxes are FREE but we do accept koha for many families get between 3-4 meals per box. Koha the mahi with exchange of kai, service [voluntary working], or money [for more gardening equipment, seeds, seedlings]. Need only to message us here 20 minutes before you can pick up so that we can pick fresh for you.

These are held every 2 weeks in the summer months. The idea is with your box of veges you use some of them to prepare a meal and bring back with your family to share with others doing the same thing. You get to mingle with others where a garden space and healthy kai has brought us all together :)
Yes we do group chat about building more vege gardens in whanau backyards so that we can harvest share more. We all have knowledge, skills, can-do nature... if this is you to benefit others... come and join us. Next meal: Saturday February 26th 2022 > Start 5pm > Need to RSVP if attending please.
