This month, we’re stoked to have welcomed Jono Wright to the team, as he steps into the role of Managing Arborist. Jono will be your go-to for all things tree assessments, tree health, risk management, and expert advice.

Jono brings over 20 years of experience in arboriculture, having worked across New Zealand and Australia. His background spans hands-on tree work through to leading teams, driving strong safety culture, and building trusted relationships.

It’s a full-circle moment for Jono, returning to the company where his career first began. He’s looking forward to his new chapter, taking on new skills and growing with the company.

Privileged to be providing work experience training to 17-year-old Lachlan, who joins our arborist crew one day a week as part of the Gisborne Boys High Gateway programme. 👏

Lachlan is getting hands-on experience as a chainsaw groundman, learning the ropes of safety, teamwork, and the practical skills required in the arboriculture industry. 🌳🪚🪢🚧

We really appreciate his positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in. It’s great to see young people exploring pathways like this, and we hope to see Lachlan continue to grow and succeed in this career once he graduates high school.
