Design on a budget DIY interior design can be achieved without huge expense.Enjoy renovating, up-cycling, re-modelling I have been tackling all kinds of DIY for years.

What started as necessity (couldn't afford to use professionals) soon became a passion. Painting, wall-papering, tiling, upholstery, leadlights, refinishing and up-cycling furniture have all been completed with good results. Very fussy about the end result being of a high standard.

A little project for my new cottage. The kitchen was lacking cupboard and drawers space, so upcycled an old hospital bedside cabinet. Sanded back and given a couple of coats of clear wood preserver. Top tiled with little mosaics, and new black handles and tea-towel rack on the back.

Working on an update for our kitchen/dining room. Mitre10 benchtops, gorgeous 2nd hand oak table and chairs, new handles for oak sideboard. Have a black kitchen mixer waiting to be installed, then I'll decide on tile splashback. Also going to try some black cupboard handles from Wish.
