Dianella Nigra is a very easy plant to grow. Dark green clump forming foliage with attractive purple berries in summer. Can be grown in full sun or shade, dry or moist soils. Copes extremely well in poor soils. Excellent for filling gaps in the garden or mass planting. H50cmxW50cm

GREEN AKE AKE $3

These young Ake Ake are in PB3/4 pots. Plant size range is 20-30cm.

A very hardy shrub that tolerates windy and dry conditions. Can be used in a mixed native planting, garden situation or as a hedge.

I also have these available in medium and large sized plants.

How fantastic are the flax flowers looking this year. This area was bare four years ago and we planted it up to provide shelter for the horses. We now enjoy resident quail and Tui coming to feed on nectar and berries.
