Congratulations to my Dad John Hortop 34yrs managing and being in the building of Hortop & Son in Havelock North, and Hortop & Son also turned a massive 102yrs old on Saturday such a huge achievement longest serving Joinery Shop still Family owned in Hawkes Bay.. 🍻😁🎂🎉🥳🎊🥂

Today Hortop and Son Ltd are celebrating 99 years in the joinery business. My Grandfather Frank started the business on this day in 1923. Followed by my father Ian from 1958 through to 1991 and thats when I took over and I am still here today. On 1st July Hortop and Son Ltd will have operated from this site in Donnelly Street Havelock North for 31 years and still going strong. I am very proud to be carrying on the family business and am looking forward to 2023 to celebrate 100 years of Hortop and Son Ltd.

Hi all we are closing Thursday the 23rd hopefully around lunchtime so will be closed from then until Dad returns on the 10th of January I will be returning a week later on the 17th.. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and have a safe holiday.. And we will see you all back in the new year thanks everyone 😊

Another year has past where our family business is another year older. Congratulations to Hortop & Son LTD on now being 98 years old and STILL family owned, We are the longest serving family owned Joinery Company in the Hawkes Bay MAYBE even the whole of New Zealand...
Definitely something to celebrate thats for sure 😁..

We will be closed and only opening for limited hours getting some jobs done This is due to the sudden shock of losing my Poppa Ian Hortop on 3/9/18 😭 We will reopen on Monday the 10th September. Thanks David Hortop
