WANTED ROOFING LABOURER!
$25 - $30 per hour
McLean Roofing Ltd is a small locally owned business that is based in Havelock, operating within the wider Marlborough region. We focus on quality craftsmanship and precision, the team handles a variety of roofing projects, that include complete roof transformations across scenic locations like the Marlborough Sounds.
About the Role
Starting as a labourer, with the opportunity to move into a roofing apprenticeship.
The role includes collecting supplies, delivering them to the job site, and assisting with building and labouring tasks. A work vehicle will also be provided to carry out these job tasks. Candidates who show ability, steady progress, and consistent performance may gain further experience and receive gradual pay increases.
What We Need From You
Applicants MUST live in or near Blenheim to be able to collect the supplies, and be willing to travel to our base in Havelock. This is a physical role that requires adaptability, fitness, and some lifting and carrying. You must be punctual, hold a full New Zealand Manual Driver licence, and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Must also be eligible to currently work in New Zealand.
Hours and Conditions
Monday to Friday work hours are generally between 7:00am–5:00pm however this may vary.
Occasional Saturday mornings may be required, although this is uncommon.
From time to time, you may need to stay away on site for work; and in this case an will be provided for this.
