Did you know that recovering refrigerant gas from old heat pumps is not only important for the environment, but is also required by New Zealand regulations?

When we remove an old heat pump, we don't just disconnect it and take it away. As qualified installers, we recover the refrigerant gas using specialised equipment before decommissioning the unit. Another heat pump replacement completed and ready to tackle winter! 👏

Last week we removed an old, rusted-out Panasonic heat pump and replaced it with a brand-new Mitsubishi Electric KW60 Floor Console. ❄️➡️🔥

Not only will this new unit provide reliable, energy-efficient heating for years to come, but it has already made a huge difference in keeping the home warm and comfortable during these colder days.

We also had a very important quality control inspector on site – Lucy the dog! 🐶🏡
We are pleased to report that even Lucy gave the installation her paw of approval and was more than happy to have her house warm and cosy again.

We're excited to introduce Shonteal, our Gateway Student, who joins us every Thursday.

Over the last five weeks, Shonteal has been a fantastic addition to the team, getting stuck into every task and showing a great attitude towards learning and gaining hands-on experience in the industry. It's been awesome to see her confidence and skills grow each week.

🔌👏 A big shout-out to our apprentice, Riley!

Over the last two weeks, Riley has been away in Christchurch attending his block course, working hard on his bookwork and gaining valuable new skills and knowledge on his journey to becoming a qualified electrician.

We'd like to congratulate Riley on the effort and dedication he puts into everything he does. Whether he's out on site or in the classroom, he always gives 100% and is constantly looking for ways to learn and improve.

We're proud to have him as part of the Delore Electrical & Heat Pumps team and are happy to have him back on site after two weeks away.
We look forward to seeing him putting his newly gained knowledge into practice and continuing to grow in the trade.
