Do you have a wasp problem on your property?

We have noticed an increase of wasp activity and nests in the past few weeks while working in gardens. Wasps are not a very good friend of mine with most seasons being stung, as you know it’s not a nice experience!
I have been working with Jeff (the bee man) over a number of years. Jeff will come to your property and treat the problem, he also relocates bumble bee nests and much more. Jeff loves his job!

If you have a problem on your property and do not wish to treat the problem yourself you can contact the bee man Jeff on 0284024852

Satisfaction seeing the before and after photos 🫶

These hydrangeas had a good cut back today, removed all dead wood and exposed the new growth down the shoots.
Pea straw was then put down, laying pea straw is one of my favourite jobs because the plants absolutely love it!

Pea straw can be used as both a mulch and a soil conditioner. It is high in nitrogen and breaks down quickly to release nutrients for plants as well as adding organic material to improve soil structure. It is ideal to lay this now before winter- also helps keep w**d growth down 👍

Feel free to enquire about getting pea straw down on your garden.

Dear valued and new clients,

We are now booked up until Christmas. For those who are booked in you will not loose your booking, if you are a regular and have not had your dates messaged to you please let me know.

New clients; We will still provide quotes and meet with you to discuss your garden, however we do not have anymore room before Christmas to squeeze you in. We can book you in for the new year.

Our apologies.

ROSE PRUNING 🌹

The aim of rose pruning is aeration to minimise any disease that may harbor infestations and it also encourages flowering, this is vital to the health of the rose bush.
Your roses may look stark after a good pruning, however roses grow very prolifically and will fill in quickly.

It is almost impossible to kill a rose bush by over-pruning!

What a week of weather we have had in Southland!

Was great to be out in the country today having a cut back before the frosts strike.
Don’t forget to have a cut back in your garden so your spring bulbs and plants can bloom in the spring 🌸
