And....that's a wrap for 2023 for the Chaytor team! 🎄

Thank you all for your support across all of our businesses this year. The year has continued to see growth across the board, and we are excited to share that 2024 is only going to get better with a new service offering, a website refresh, continued great service and of course a bit of fun & humour along the way.

To our staff, thank you for your continued mahi - we wouldn't be where we are without you all. We hope that the Summer decides to stick around and you all have a well deserved break.

No Mondayitis around here when this was the job to kick start the week 🥳

Rae Ranch in Katikati is now secure with a new automated gate, complete with GMS gate controller.

Not sure what a gate controller is? It basically means there's no more stumbling for the remote or trying to remember a pin number for your keypad...you have control of the opening and closing of your gates anywhere in the world via your phone app. You also have full management of who can/can't control the gates...so the family members who you don't mind coming and going may be on the access list...a few others may not (no judgement here) 🤣

The implementation of the Kawa cup into the company this year has brought such a positive influence amongst the team. It has allowed the space to share positively about each other and also promoting accountability amongst ourselves.

You may recognise this face as our 'Fencing Queen' if you've been a loyal follower and customer of Chaytor.... but today we are proud to announce Ash as our September Kawa Cup winner!

Ash has been doing a great job juggling all the Chaytor businesses. She wears many hats and is always there to help. It's always great to see our work whānau acknowledge another team members hard work. Here's a snippet from her nomination.

Another great networking golf day partnering with NZ Electrical Trades Golf in Omokoroa as part of their annual nationwide tournament. As a fun challenge for the golfers we ran competition to see how far a giant marshmallow could be driven. The overall winner was Damien from Chaytor Electrical and Security - at 47 metres. ⛳️🏌️‍♀️

PSA - daylight savings started today and it's always a good time to check some of your home safety and security features are still working how they should be!

🌞 Smoke alarms. Change the batteries and make sure you test they're fully functioning.
🌞 Security systems. If you have an alarm, give it a test. Got CCTV security cameras? Be sure to give them a wave and a big smile and make sure your notifications are coming through how they should to your app!
🌞 Got an automatic gate? It might be time for it to have a service to ensure it continues to open and close smoothly. If it's not quite working how it should, give us a call the team will be happy to help.

Kicking off the week with celebrating our Kawa cup winner...Ash 🥳

This initiative we are running internally has been awesome and we are continuing to receive through some well thought out nominations. Our team are showing some great enthusiasm and understanding for our Kawa, but also a great level of respect for not only each other’s mahi/skillset, but just as importantly how we are showing up as individuals… respectfully/great attitudes and a good mindset. Or just being bloody good humans to work with resulting in overall a well balanced, enjoyable workplace.

Ash is one of our Electrical and Security team also known as… “The Reaper” (that’s his boxing alias for the upcoming Base Up corporate boxing gig in November whereby Ash is representing the mighty Chaytor Co).

Google reviews fly in weekly about Ash which cements his great attitude, work ethic and his continuous strive to do a great job for our customers. We take our google reviews very seriously as we understand how life is busy for everyone so for a customer to take the time out to write a review it must mean you have left an impression worth sharing.
