Part Three: Top Coats and the Finished Product

The final step at Quail Ridge Clubhouse is complete, and it’s looking sharp! After all the prep, filling, sanding, and undercoating, it’s time to lay down those top coats.

With careful focus, we applied the top coats to achieve that crisp, clean finish. The results speak for themselves—a clubhouse that not only looks fantastic but will stand the test of time.

From start to finish, it’s been about skill, dedication, and getting the job done right.

The Quail Ridge residents are going to love this space, and we’re proud of the work we’ve put into it. Another successful project completed 2.A.T. at every stage!

Part One: Filling, Sanding, and Masking at Quail Ridge Clubhouse

Kicking off a big project at the new Quail Ridge Clubhouse in Kerikeri.

With approximately 300m2 of space, the first step was all about the prep work—filling, sanding, and masking.

Filling:
Filling is the process of covering holes, cracks, or imperfections to create a smooth, even surface before painting.

Sanding:
Sanding smooth the filled areas and rough surfaces, ensuring a clean, even base for paint to adhere to.

Masking:
Masking involves covering areas like windows and trim with tape and masking film or paper to protect them from paint and ensure clean edges.

These prep steps lay the groundwork for a flawless finish, setting us up for success as we move forward with this big project.
