Did you know, we also maintain orchards and plantations!? 🌴

We recently began work on this overgrown banana plantation with close to 200 banana plants which needed some desperate attention. We began by clearing away the scrub from around the bananas and mowing the grass down to a manageable level. The next step will be placing a layer of mulch around the plants to help retain nutrients and moisture during the harsh Northland weather. We will continue the maintenance of this orchard over winter by regularly mowing and removing any pest plants.

This week we began the clean up of this severely overgrown home here in Opua…

We’ve started off this project by clearing the vegetation from underneath and above the veranda to allow space for future plans

We’ll be back in the upcoming weeks to continue returning this property to its former glory 🌿
