Back on site after the break and straight into a technically demanding job to kick off the year.
This project was for Spartan Construction on the Paeroa wastewater treatment plant upgrade. It’s a major piece of local infrastructure, replacing the old pond system with a modern mechanical treatment plant built to meet tighter environmental standards and support Paeroa’s growth well into the future. One of the biggest infrastructure projects the town has seen in years.
The early challenge was providing safe access inside the tanks while allowing concrete pours to continue underneath. The scaffold couldn’t touch the ground — fully suspended, no legs — with all loads carried through scaffold truss systems.
Jobs like this aren’t our everyday work — we’re mostly residential — but with solid planning and ex*****on, we delivered the access safely and as required. A strong way to start the year.
