• Second unit — Resene Lumbersider (Half Stack)

Interior:
Walls and ceilings sealed with Berger Gold Label Sealer.

Ceilings finished with:
• Resene Hi-Op Easy Touch Flat (Black White)
• Wet areas — Resene SpaceCote Kitchen & Bathroom Flat (Black White)

Walls finished with:
• Resene Decorator Interior Low Sheen (Double Black White)
• Wet areas — Resene SpaceCote Kitchen & Bathroom Low Sheen (Double Black White)

Doors and frames:
• Undercoated with Resene Quick Dry
• Finished with Dulux Professional Fast Finish (Black White)

We only have interior photos of one unit, but both homes share the same beautiful design and finish.

About the Role
You’ll be working across a variety of repaint projects and new builds — primarily residential, with some commercial work included.
Your work may involve:
* Interior and exterior painting
* Plaster repairs and surface preparation
* Wallpaper hanging
* Airless spraying

* Qualified or experienced painter
* Wallpapering experience (an advantage)
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Kristy is not only an amazing florist but also a super talented photographer. Our family has been using her for years for both photography and floral arrangements, and she never disappoints. Every bouquet is thoughtfully put together, and every photo captures such special moments so beautifully 📸🌷

We’re so proud to see her doing incredible things — and soon she’s even flying over to Australia to photograph a wedding in our own family!

Another beautiful transformation completed in Levin 🏡❤️

This lovely home received the full Resene & Dulux Professional treatment, and as always, preparation was key. A lot of hours went into making sure this job was done right from the very beginning.

We started with a full wash down of the entire exterior, followed by thorough sanding before applying Dulux Professional Timber Surfacers.�After another sand, we applied Resene Quik Dry, then carried out extensive filling using Two Fussy Blokes Fussy Filler. More sanding, spot priming, and gapping with Sabreseal GP Multipurpose Gap Filler ensured everything was perfectly prepped before top coats began.

• Fascia & Window Frames – Resene Lustacryl in Middle Earth�• Windows – Resene Lustacryl in Double Dutch White�• Base – Resene Lumbersider in Middle Earth�• Weatherboards – Resene Lumbersider in Earthstone�• Steps & Concrete Deck – Resene Lumbersider in Triple Concrete with a non-slip additive

Today we say a big farewell to Chris.

Chris has been with us since the very beginning and we honestly can’t thank him enough for everything he’s given to Paint It ColourSmart over the years.

He is one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet. Reliable, dedicated, and always willing to go the extra mile, Chris has played a huge part in helping us grow to where we are today. His work ethic and commitment have never gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for the effort, loyalty, and pride he has brought to the team every single day.

As he takes the exciting step of going out on his own and starting his own business venture, we couldn’t be prouder. It’s a big move, but if anyone has the drive and determination to make it a success, it’s Chris.

We also want to thank his family for the support they’ve given him — and us — over the years. Running and growing a business takes time and sacrifice, and we truly appreciate everything they’ve contributed along the way.
We wish Chris and his family nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter. We look forward to supporting his new business and will absolutely be sending work his way whenever we can.

Another roof brought back to life in Levin 🎨🪛

This little roof refurbishment was all about doing the prep right:
• Started with a full spray of Resene Moss & Mould Killer
• Followed by a thorough power wash
• Some extra TLC where needed
• Applied a coat of Resene Galvo One
• Finished with 2 stop coats of Resene Summit Roof Paint in Summit

The end result? A roof that’s looking sharp and well protected for years to come 💪

Garage redo complete 🎨

This garage got a full refresh, starting with Berger Gold Label sealer, followed by a skim coat using GIB Trade Finish plaster. After sanding and resealing, the boys went through the full painting process to bring it all together.

Finished with:
* Walls: Resene Decorator Low Sheen in Black White
* Frames: Dulux Fast Finish enamel semi-gloss in Black White

As Always filler gaps, brushes and rollers are Two Fussy Blokes

Huge shout-out to our two apprentices who smashed this one out from start to finish. A lot of prep went into this job and it really paid off with a great final result 👏
