Dough Bakery and Mia Tracey all sold out at Fantail Services Limited for a 1 day Wellington on a plate morning pie special, now coming back for day 2 at 5 Pretoria Street, Central Lower Hutt.

Supporting kids sport is a passion of Fantail Services Limited. When the opportunity came up to support a kids / youth darts team, we couldn't turn it down!

Chris recently delivered the new darts shirts and met the team for the first time. There were fist pumps all round 👊

How we all got here is interesting. A few years ago, we started a Fantail Services Limited darts team with our employees and some ringers, called the Fantail Flights 🎯

We made a cool logo by plucking out a couple of the red feathers from the Fantail turbine logo and shoved 3 darts in there 😅 Looked great!

We started in the 2nd Division of the Wellington Darts Association league at the Poneke clubrooms. It was great bonding with the Fantail team once a week on the Oche. The Team made it to Div 1. 👏

Due to babies being born, and some of the Team now working for Fantail in different locations around the North Island, the team disbanded...... but not for long.

I was informed that there were some up and coming youngsters in the Wellington region darts scene that needed some financial support. It was a no brainer, bring it on 💪

Fantail 'Next Gen' was born 👌

These kids are gun. They prefer time on the Oche, over time on the screen. They are fearless, competitive, and have fun. The Team have beaten experienced adult players to retain a spot in Wellington's top division and are holding their own. The Team also play at the Kapi Mana Darts Association league 👏

Some of the youngsters are playing on the big stage in the adult and junior/youth World Darts Federation New Zealand 🇳🇿 Darts Nationals in June & July, in Hamilton & Auckland respectively.

It wouldn't be Darts without some great player ring walk names. Our overall squad:

Mama Rach - Ninja - Kalega - Wires - Crash Out - Ragebait - The Rat - Bluey - Obe Who?

Keep your ear to the ground, you might see the faces on the TV one day 👌

Great to see the Fantail Services Limited Community Van played a part in last weekend's away trip to Taradale for the Wellington United Diamonds Women's Central League Team (WLC).

Our part was minor as the Team did all the hard work by coming back to Wellington with a 9-0 victory in the bag!
