Thursday, Upper Hutt.
Last visit here, and not just because I'm stepping away from the gardening for a while. It's off to market soon. The roses here are amazing. The new owner will have a wonderful time when they start flowering again. I was asked to cut them right back now to be tidy for sale. Going to try and strike some of the offcuts ๐Ÿคž

Monday, Stokes Valley road.
Lots of hedge trimmer action here today. I can't believe there's so many spring flowers showing up, some of our daffodils at home are getting ready to open too. It's not even winter yet!

To my dear gardening clients and page followers...
I am having to step away from the gardening, for a wee while at least.
Martin and I are now 6 months in on owning our own logging truck, so far so good! (Ours is the pink Mack)
But now I am also driving for an injured owner driver. We are now 10 weeks in with both Martin and I doing 70hr weeks and I have to admit, I can't keep up with the gardens as well.
So for now it is au revoir. I shall definitely miss my visits to your gardens. But we won't keep on like this forever, I'll be back ๐Ÿ’š

Wednesday, Barnardos Petone.
Regular w**ding, trimming, dead heading and feeding the fruit trees and trimming the hidey hole bush.
Our lovely wee Ella was off to the vets after this and she was such a good girl and slept through the entire visit, all snuggled and wrapped up warm ๐Ÿ’š

Sunday, April 26th.
Bit of a delay posting this!
A regular w**ding visit in this gorgeous haven, and I was even allowed to w**d spray the gravel which actually had several blackberry invaders getting going.

Monday, Barnardos Petone.
Regular visit to w**d and preen. This weather is keeping the w**ds cranking along!
The oi-oi grass had a good comb out. I had to be brutal here about 6 months ago and spray this patch as its got a nasty creeping grass through it all. It has helped delete that horrible grass and luckily a good ring of the oi-oi has survived. Will see how this develops.
W**d sprayed down the fire exit side and the convolvulus clambering the fence, trimmed the driveway boxes, dead headed the low h**e and fed the fruit trees out the back.

Some colour from our front garden. Plus a couple of pics of the fasciation that the kowhai is chucking out, two pieces, one on each side of the trunk at the bottom. Very cool to watch!

Thursday, Petone.
This is the first time I've been asked to help out in this lovely Petone garden. The owner has injured her back and our excellent w**d growing summer weather has seen this bed gallop away.
The grass that had infiltrated this bed was very tenacious, it had an amazing hold on the soil.
2 wheelie bins full plus a good cache of w**d seed free brown gold for their compost.
Check out the trees that the development next door to them has carefully fenced around. If only they were all like that.
