We continued on the weeding train i tenei rā, helping young seedlings get all the nutrients they need 🌱💚

We also began planting in a new bed in the main plot. Thanks to the reset plan via couch grass removal and cover cropping, the soil is looking very healthy and loamy once more 😍🧑‍🌾

A big thanks to the wonderful volunteers who joined us today! 💚

We love welcoming those who want to garden with us! If you’re interested in getting involved visit our website:

With The Spring Fair under our belts, we now focus our energy on ramping up our production farm.

Today we were at Umu i te Mamaku farm to clear weeds from the rows. Thank you to our volunteer crew for sharing your time with us! Head over to our website if you’d like to get involved.

There are many ways to recycle the nutrients from weeds back into the soil, they can be solarised, soaked, smothered, or fed to chickens, making sure nothing goes to waste.
