An example of preserving school infrastructure that is hard to replace. The structure and fabric of Naenae Primary School's hall were in poor condition. Demolition was considered, but the team found a way to rebuild better, creating a new statement of the school's identity. The frangipani motif is a placeholder. Excited to see what the artist comes up with.

Making sure with exterior insulation. Testing fixings with Bas from .international on a mock-up panel prepared by , with Insulation samples supplied by . Rockwool insulation provides a vapour-opened system combined with a peel-and-stick-on gypsum weather-resistant barrier.

WUFI modelling from tests this moisture management for a reclad of a 90's polystyrene-plaster-clad chilly bin house. This ensures we don't cause condensation or thermal break issues with structural steel embedded in the existing timber frame, while improving the house's airtightness and thermal performance.

One of our Marlborough projects is nearing completion. A rebuild of a 60s bach after a fire that became a bit more. Overlooking Queen Charlotte Sound, the rebuilt house has a high-performance thermal and airtight envelope with external insulation to both levels, a ventilated roof assembly, and carefully considered shading of the windows.

Before, the first youthful sketch and the final completion of a weather-tightness remediation project for the entrance to the administration block at Waiopehu College in Levin.

Taking the opportunity to create an entrance statement in school colours that was more sympathetic to the original S68 bones than the previous turn-of-the-century POMO addition. Careful shading and glass selection for west-facing windows reduces overheating.
