Painting+ Academy

Painting+ Academy Painting+ Academy helps adult students create artworks using a range of different media combined with paint I also have a BA degree in Art History and Classics.

The classes take place in my studio either as group lessons for an 8 week term or as private lessons for individuals on an hourly basis. The accent is on fun and innovation while learning technical skills to take your paintings to another level above the ordinary. Using paint plus indian ink, collage, stamping, pastel, charcoal, pencil and other media incorporated into the work you will find you a

re more fully involved in the creative process rather than just painting a pretty picture. It is more satisfying for the artist and produces the wow factor for the viewer. While I have been teaching art for the past 10 years, I have been an active artist all my life and all my professional jobs have been art related. I trained at the Wellington School of Design which gave me a sound design background, fundamental to producing good art.
