We handled:
• Interior painting & wallpapering
• A feature negative detailing to the ceiling
• Resene FX textured paint effects in the reception and waiting areas

The result? A clean, sharp, and welcoming space with beautiful tactile depth and sophistication.

Wow – what a transformation at this residential home!
FCD gave this home's stairwell a stunning refresh with bold wallpaper and crisp black and white paint on the stairs + handrail.
The hallway got the same love: painted wall panels below + gorgeous wallpaper above, then finished with a show-stopping Bird of Paradise feature wall in the TV room.

Thrilled to share our latest completed project!

We partnered with Peryer Construction on the stunning redevelopment of the Cafe and Main Entrance at Staglands Wildlife Reserve – a truly nature-inspired transformation.

Our team delivered a full interior refresh: expert painting, staining, white-washing, and plastering, plus beautiful exterior wood-staining that blends perfectly with the surrounding bush.

The end result? A fresh, warm, and inviting space that's already delighting visitors and making our client very happy!

Join Our Team at First Choice Decorators as a part-time casual Estimator.

This role is ideal for all levels, from beginners to those balancing family commitments or transitioning into retirement.

About the Role:
Position: Part-time (casual) Estimator
Minimum Experience: 1+ years
Hours: Part-time, casual position with flexible hours, typically 1–2 days per week, Monday to Friday. Hours and days may vary, so adaptability is essential. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
Reporting to: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Immediate start available.
Location: Seaview, Petone, Wellington

Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and analyse architectural plans and specifications (knowledge of the painting industry is beneficial but not essential).
* Measure plans using Bluebeam Cadpro measurement software (training provided; prior experience advantageous).
* Manage time effectively to meet tender deadlines.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail, high-spec finishes, and commitment to exceeding expectations, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Estimator to join our team on a part-time, casual basis.

About the Role
