Hydroscape is a New Zealand owned and operated irrigation design, supply and installation company servicing the greater Auckland area. We are a small but passionate team looking for an Irrigation Technician to support our ongoing growth, maintain our current clients and meet current and upcoming project demands.

As Irrigation Technician, this role will be varied in nature and will see you working on many different projects (i.e. irrigation, water features, pumps etc) – no two jobs will be the same. You will not only be highly competent in general irrigation tasks but will also have a real eye for detail and be able to manage an array of tasks as well as our client’s expectations.

We deal with quality products and our clients demand excellence in our service delivery and ongoing support. You will be working with suppliers, clients and designers to ensure the success of our projects, so you will need to be a great communicator who builds strong relationships to compliment your own time management and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Installing, constructing, commissioning and servicing irrigation and control systems.
• Translating system designs into reality
• Accurately recording time and materials used on projects
• Ensuring customer/project requirements are met

You will:
• Be an adaptable person and an excellent communicator with a friendly and positive outlook
• Be proactive and able to lead by example
• Have a strong work ethic and take pride in your work
• Enjoy problem solving and have a “can do” attitude

The ideal candidate will preferably have 3+ years’ experience working in the landscaping and/or irrigation industry, however full on-the-job training will be provided.
