Well, we are now facing the aftermath and cleanup of a very sad time for a lot of us in the North Island. We were expecting restful sun filled days and instead we had, what seemed like, an unending season of rain and flooding.
We are now getting the calls from home owners who are faced with the task of repairing their homes and it is very overwhelming.
We are members of ATFA - Australasian Timber Flooring Association - and they have the resources to help on how to move forward with these issues that you may be facing. If you don't know how to proceed, maybe your insurance company have told you to get quotes to repair? We suggest contacting ATFA by way of their website and getting a report from them. Their reports are very comprehensive and will be a document that you can rely on to ensure your family's health and safety in your home and how to move forward with your flooded flooring issues. They have many long standing timber flooring industry professionals amongst their ranks and can provide you with an opinion and advice that will give you peace of mind. Your insurance company may even cover the cost. It is worth it.
They are the professionals with many years of knowledge amongst them.
