This Sunday, May 24th, from 11 am to 3:30 pm, the Tutaenui Reservoir walking and mountain bike track is being used by the Manawatū Mountain Bike Club Winter Series race! 🚴‍♂️

Check the map to avoid getting into a bike traffic jam.

Keep an eye out for the local legends showing off their skills before they hit the World Circuit competition. I will be rocking my full Lycra kit (think Borat mankini).

You might just see a future champ in the making... or someone who's just really, really good at falling off a bike

Just a heads-up ... the team will be working on the bottom Ruru Track loop tomorrow and Friday. Machinery in use and a track diversion will be in place. Please take care, keep dogs on their leads and mountain bikers slow down and share the bottom track with walkers. Thanks all!

Hi Tūtaenui Reserve users! Just a heads up that the Reserve will be hosting the "Frocks on Shocks" Womens MTB XC Relay race on Saturday, 2 May. Some walking and MTB tracks on the Western side of the Reserve will be closed from 10am to 4pm on this day. A map of the course is attached which shows these tracks. We're super excited that the Reserve is attracting these fun events, and we will have our fingers crossed for a fine weather day for them! Hope you will cheer them on if you see them out there on the 2 May!
