MY STORY - Why am I starting this business?

Growing up I always enjoyed making things, either with Lego or bolsa wood, my mother called me a "cog". At intermediate School I decided that I wanted to be a builder.
On leaving Secondary school I took an apprenticeship with the Railways as a Coachbuilder, which gave me extensive training in: Carpentry, Joinery, cabinet making, sheet metal work, trimming (Upholstery). Also painting and Paper hanging.
Due to having spinal surgery last April, even though it went better than expected, I couldn't return to building. I had to be able to control what, how and how long I did it.
Since I have always enjoyed working with wood and the opportunity to take over an already established outdoor furniture business came up, with my family’s encouragement I decided to start this business.
Also, due to having made and repaired wooden windows, I want to help those who can't afford to replace them with expensive new aluminum windows. By offering a wooden window repair service, as well as any minor house maintenance.
I take great pride in my workmanship. MOTTO: " If You wouldn't accept the quality of the job in your own home, then you shouldn't accept it in the customers home either ".
