Fresh build, flawless finish 🪄

Proud to have worked on this stunning cottage and separate guest house for Dawes Construction Wairarapa situated in rural Greytown.

There’s a real satisfaction in seeing a new build take shape, with every element coming together perfectly. Clean, sharp finishes aren’t just about looks, they’re about durability and quality.

Grateful for the chance to be part of this project and to collaborate with such a skilled team once again.

The lads put in massive effort to give this home a full exterior makeover out East Taratahi, from roof to foundation. The fresh coat of paint has really brought the house to life, from drab to fab we’d say !

Big shoutout to for the roofing iron and ridge capping replacement and Stiff scaffolding services for providing the scaffolding support.

Due to the obscure shape of the house, it was a little tricky to get decent before and after photos but hopefully the work that has gone into the project can be depicted from this collage.

Custom barn door finished in Resene Lustacryl. It was a pleasure to paint this one for .construction.nz

It definitely had its challenges being completed in the custom garage fit out, but the end result turned out perfectly and the photos speak for themselves. 🤘🏼

Stoked with how this barn slider turned out. We'll post some pictures of the project soon 🙂

Drop the team at Onyx Construction a follow to see more of what they create and craft.

We'll (mainly Ash) will be popping up the occasional project update so that you lot can see what Onyx is getting up to. We'll kick it off with this one and have a few more in the pipeline for you to have a gander at soon.

We've added a bit of drama to this space with a barn door installation. A good way to break up spaces and also add in a bit of a feature. 🚪👍
