A belated Happy New Year to you all 🎉

I thought I'd give you all an update on what's been happening in the last few months 👨‍🌾

On the 27th August, my wife and I welcomed our son Chester into the world. He has changed our lives and constantly keeps us on our toes 👶

Towards the end of the year, I sold off my lawn mowing division so I can pursue my dream in getting into more landscaping and gardening contracts, this has been very exciting! Helping my clients turn their outdoor areas and gardens into something more exciting and enjoyable to suit all kinds of weather is very satisfying.

I have also teamed up with Troy at 'Apex Prperty Maintenance' and have been installing glass balustrades to keep those pool areas safe yet sophisticated, along with subdivision panel fencing, replacement iron fencing for those slightly older homes and together we have started doing home maintenance jobs. We also take care of full garden planning plus installation including irrigation, site work and help to maintain the gardens for years to come.

Alright guys here is a post to show how important it is to irrigate your lawn! Grass is a type of plant and needs to be watered! To sustain a healthy lawn it is important to cut off only one third of it's length (unless of course it has gotten away on you ). Most weeds grow in a lawn in the places in which the grass has died off leaving exposed dirt for it to establish but not in all cases. So basically throwing down more grass seeds over your patchy lawn can help to fill those spots.

Here are pictures of a before and after of a property I maintain in Havelock north , this is due to me putting sprinklers on the lawn and the client has done well using them every night for just 1 hour , there are NO chemicals used and NO extra grass seed used. JUST WATER!
