I have recently got some seeds of a 500 year old vegetable. It's called Spinach Strawberry Chenopodium foliosum, it has berries that taste like mulberries, and the leaves can be used the same as spinach.

This is the vegetable garden, that my brother and I have grown organically this summer. There are so many vegetables, to keep us nearly self sufficient this summer. As part of Weka Garden Service, I create and maintain vegetable gardens.

As part of the Sustainable Backyards hosted by Environment Centre Hawke's Bay. There was a Hawke's Bay Ecological Restoration Workshop Programme which was hosted by Waikato University was an amazing learning experience. As part of the programme there were seminars about building native forests in the city, Introduction to native iderntification, Flora of the Hawke's Bay, and Native plant propagation theory and practice. I wish to extend a big thank you to Gerard, Kay, Bruce and Kiri for their efforts!!!!!!
