This months fantastic business is a business by the name of ‘Ritex International’. They are located in Sunny Nelson down Bolt Road in Tahunanui.

We have had the pleasure of completing work for Ritex with painting a few areas within their building/properties. They are also the suppliers of our scaffolding that we use for some of our jobs.

A bit of information on this business:
They are international importers and distributors of a range of manufactured goods. With a variety of leaders in each field, it means you get quality service from people that really understand their products.
Some of these include textiles, linen, scaffolding, a big selection of different horticultural products and a range of woven bags.
The owner Peter is awesome to deal with and his workers are always willing to help, with great sense of humours to go with the service.

Another busy few days getting this roof and exterior looking like new again. The weather has been absolutely stunning recently so let’s hope it continues so we can keep pushing this project

This is our next project on the list of jobs at Richmond Primary School. A beautiful day to be Waterblasting the roof, prepping before we start painting.

Another fantastic job by Dan Shand and his team from Ridgeline Safety Systems Limited for erecting this massive structure.

The clock is ticking for us to complete these roofs as the colder months are fast approaching, let’s hope for warm weather to make sure we get the best results possible

Thanks to my awesome workers for giving up their Sunday to help push this project. Roof and gable end completed on this section.

With the weather starting to get abit cooler it’s important we get the roofs painted promptly. Due to Covid-19 delaying our progress, it’s going to be a big push over the next 3 weeks to get this job complete

Have you got jobs that you don’t have time to complete or even the right knowledge to do so???
This was us.....therefore we got in contact with ‘Handover’ and they helped us straight away.

The first wonderful business we would like to showcase (that we have had the pleasure of working with), is a company called.......... Handover!

If you don’t know who or what Handover is, they are a NZ based Virtual Secretarial Service, who specialises in the Secretarial/Admin tasks that you need completing. They reduce that admin stress/work that you don’t want to do or don’t have time to do (with-in reason of course).

Our experience with Handover has been fantastic. There is never an issue with them, they are always willing to help and if unsure, they will research to get the job done. Very prompt with completing work and extremely friendly and professional. Fantastic ideas and they take in all the information we give them and give great ideas and feedback back. They have helped and supported us with our page, and we have been in discussions with them about a website (which they are designing/creating for us).

Just a few snaps of what we have been getting stuck into since the lockdown. Thanks to our awesome builder Darren Cox for cutting out old weather boards and replacing with new ones. Nothing is an issue with Darren, so we really appreciate his work.

To Dan Shand and his crew from Ridgeline Safety System Limited for popping up the scaffolding, these guys build this structure with ease. Thanks Dan and team.

Hello everyone. 😃

With everything that is going on at the present time, we at Mcilroy Painting and Decorating want to support other local businesses.
We have always thought that it is important to support each other and especially even more at the moment.
We have been thinking of how we could do this, and we have come up with an idea of recognising a different business every month.
These are either businesses we have had the pleasure working with or alongside, ones we have got support from, done business with, products we use of theirs or even enjoy going to.

Mcilroy Painting and Decorating hopes everyone is staying safe during these unknown times. Lockdown level 4 has been a great chance for everyone to hopefully rest and relax in their bubbles.
Now this has ended for some of us, and we enter into level 3, it means that our painters are back working hard.

Richmond primary school well and truely on the way and starting to look incredible. Lockdown mode is on so we will see this project when we return after 4 weeks hopefully. Stay healthy everyone.
