Here's a before and after of some pruning we undertook last week.

The spec of the job was an overall canopy reduction and crown lift, with a slight thin to allow more filtered light into the garden while still keeping the trees natural shape and integrity.

We are stoked with the way they turned out.
Now is a great time to have your trees pruned and shaped for the nice weather and more time spent in the garden.

After discussing with our client different options on how to retain this Karaka, we proposed deadwooding and reducing specific branches to allow the remaining foliage to regenerate, whilst still taking into consideration the trees overall structural integrity.
Hopefully this large native responds well to our pruning, and we'll continue to monitor its health in the future.
