Tree climbers love hedging jobs

Whats everyone doing with their used by chainsaw pants? They aint cheap items.
Ive got 6 pairs of used pants that have had 1 to 2 patch jobs and/or need 1, all still in working order. Would be a shame to just chuck them in the bin.

-Soil movement around the base of main stem
-Limbs being over compensated by directional force
-Union/branch collars/forks splitting, cracking and/or twisting
-Main stem splitting, cracking and/or twisting around decayed areas of post cut limbs or wounds
