The shortest day is almost here... which means it's Garlic Planting Time! ๐ŸŒฑ

Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year & for generations Kiwi gardeners have marked it as the perfect time to plant garlic. While garlic can be planted anytime through winter, planting around the winter solstice gives bulbs plenty of time to establish and produce a bumper crop ready for harvest in summer.

๐Ÿง„ Printanor โ€“ A reliable, easy-to-grow garlic with large white bulbs and a mild, creamy flavour. Perfect for everyday cooking.

๐Ÿง„ Elephant Garlic โ€“ Produces enormous cloves with a sweet, mild garlic flavour that's delicious roasted whole.
