Thunderstorms expected this afternoon, so this morning has been busy harvesting tomatoes and peaches in preparation. The peaches are all from our little "Takapau" peach - bonus they are free stone. Just 1 1/2 trees picked and no ladders needed.

Egyptian tree onions harvested. Love these from . Average yield is about 6-9 onions on each plant. A good size too. Best part is we can eat all the onions and use the bulbils from the tops for replanting ( Pic 4)

I'm enjoying growing these gourds ( hue) for the first time. Very prolific and trying to take over my tomatoes. I think they'll need there own support next year. The fun part will be carving and decorating them. A project with the grandkids. Thanks for the seeds.

Bees go crazy for Pseudopanax flowers. Hard to capture the buzzing but it is very loud standing under the tree. The piwakawaka are having a good feed too.
