For a pavilion-style home, our client was drawn to a refined mix of natural timbers paired with darker, contemporary claddings. To help visualize this direction, we created this material selection mood board—exploring contrasts between light and dark tones, texture, and durability.

The palette brings together warm timber finishes with sleek options such as fibre cement, aluminum, and metal cladding, creating a balanced exterior that feels both grounded and modern. It’s all about layering materials to enhance form, depth, and character while complementing the pavilion layout.
