It’s not until you look back that you see how far your business has come and what you can achieve when you put your heads together and get to work.

Started in 2023 with one van and two people on the tools. Right before Christmas shutdown, which in hindsight was either brave or slightly mad.

2026 is shaping up to be our busiest year yet. A lot has changed but the way we work hasn't.

When we come out, we do a proper inspection first. Roofing iron or tiles, flashings, fixings, gutters, the full picture. Then we tell you straight what your roof needs and what it is going to cost.

You do not need to climb anything to get a sense of whether your roof needs attention.

From the ground: sagging roofline, visible rust, moss or dark streaking, gutters pulling away, debris collecting in the same spot after every wind.

From inside: water stains on ceilings, damp smell in the roof space.

None of these automatically mean something dramatic. Some are early warnings worth keeping an eye on. Some need sorting sooner rather than later. But knowing what is there means you can make a call before it becomes urgent.

By the time you see water inside, it has already been there a while.

Repair, re-roof, or full new roof? If you are not sure what you actually need, you are not alone.

Repair: isolated problem, quick fix, most cost effective.

Re-roof: old roofing worn out but the structure is still sound. New iron goes on, typically done in a few days.

New roof: structure needs attention too, or it is a new build.

The signs that push something from a repair into a re-roof are usually widespread rust, multiple leaks showing up, or roofing that has simply done its time.

You know that feeling when you take time out of your day for a free assessment and somehow walk away more confused than before?

Yeah, we hate that too.

When we show up we start from the ground, check the gutters and water flow, then get up top to look at everything you cannot see from your lawn. Roofing condition, flashings, fixings, the overall structure and lifespan. The full picture.

At the end of it you walk away knowing exactly what needs to be done to protect the roof over your home.

Leaves and debris build up fast in autumn. Clear your gutters and downpipes before leaf fall blocks them and water starts backing up.

Cooler weather means your roof stays wet for longer, which speeds up rust and moss growth. Worth getting eyes on any areas you know are prone to it.

After strong winds, check for loose screws or lifting sheets. These are easy to miss from the ground but do not take much to sort if caught early.

And keep an eye out for any areas where fixings might be working loose as temperatures shift between warm days and cold nights.

Autumn is the perfect time to get on top of it. Sorting small issues now prevents big problems when the heavy rain hits.
