As part of Fungi Fest NZ, we're excited to welcome renowned amateur mycologist and FUNNZ councillor David Whyte to Tauranga for two incredible fungi experiences.

Fascinating Fungi & Magnificent Mushrooms
Discover the hidden world beneath our feet as David explores fungal ecology, fungi-tree relationships, identification basics, and the vital role fungi play in our ecosystems. David has contributed almost 6,000 fungal observations to iNaturalist NZ and has discovered multiple indigenous fungi new to Western science.
