After years of hands-on work in food forests, community gardens, mentoring programmes, resilience projects, and education initiatives, we've officially soft-launched:

The platform has been purpose-built for kai resilience, food growing, community learning, and regenerative education across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Currently you'll find:

✅ Community and leadership pathways
✅ Mentoring and guided learning opportunities

The foundation courses are intentionally simple. They are designed to help complete beginners gain confidence and practical skills before moving into more advanced topics.
Unlike generic learning platforms, Food Resilience School NZ has been built specifically for growers, educators, community groups, and resilience-focused organisations. Future developments include advanced technical training, SCORM-compatible courses, mentoring systems, impact reporting, and grower-created learning pathways.

All course content, systems, photography, and resources have been developed from real-world experience through our food forest, nursery, community gardens, and resilience projects.

As part of Fungi Fest NZ, we're excited to welcome renowned amateur mycologist and FUNNZ councillor David Whyte to Tauranga for two incredible fungi experiences.

Fascinating Fungi & Magnificent Mushrooms
Discover the hidden world beneath our feet as David explores fungal ecology, fungi-tree relationships, identification basics, and the vital role fungi play in our ecosystems. David has contributed almost 6,000 fungal observations to iNaturalist NZ and has discovered multiple indigenous fungi new to Western science.
