Busy day for the teams today.

Stop go traffic control from Traffic Flow Kapiti Limited for removal of large split willow tree on Ratanui road and clean up of the second storm damaged willow tree for Kapiti Coast District Council

Then on to Raumati road to remove large overhanging gum branches as a preventive measure.

Another team at Otaihanga domain cleaning up storm damaged trees and hangers.

Also Quinn's Contracting Ltd helping out again to clear services where the big pine tree fell onto the lines near the play center.

Thanks to everyone involved today, it's been a busy few weeks

Absolutely wild weather event today here on Kapiti Coast, kept the team busy.

We often get alot of treefall when the winds come from the east as they are set up to resist the prevailing wind which is generally from the west.

I hope you are all safe and the majority of your trees survived.
