Unfortunately, on Tuesday's post I put the wrong name for the winner of the Champion Bloom at the National Daffodil Society Show. I apologise to Aaron Russ who was the winner and Denise McQuarrie whom I wrongly named as the winner. I have edited the post to correct it.

I was unable to attend the Morrinsville Show on Friday because I had the flu. Yesterday I decided to pull 12 of our best flowers out of the the fridge and to stage them as I would have for the 12 varieties in the Open section of the show. I decided to put them on tiered staging to give a better view. The flowers are: Top: Coconut Cream, GM09-21 (Egmont Star x Frontier Gold), Onya, Fever Pitch, Phil's Legacy. Middle: Nimbin, GM05-40 (Grasmere x Impeccable), Pirongia Lemon, Showdown. Bottom: GM22-08 (Resplendent x Sizzle), Snowy Morn, Bad Habit.
