When your Monday at work seems so hard and then turns into joy. The client gives me some offspring seedlings from the god of the Forrest “tane mahuta”. These 3 seedlings will have some hard thoughts on what I’ll do with them. Perhaps I’ll gift to the community or perhaps I’ll plant and propagate for my land.

Tree focus got called to fell of Douglas fir 🌲 tree up the Takaka hill highway from the pictures to the left of first photo. The client wanted more morning sun and we had a clear space to drop on the driveway. Utilising the winch on the Hansa c60rx chipper made it much easier and safer. The client was happy he got lots of firewood for next winter. The last photo shows the difference. kea ridge lodge on takaka hill.

26/07/2022 - Tree Focus Ltd has moved areas and is now located at the top of the South Island Motueka.

A long established client wanted these 4x Queen palms amd 1x Washingtonian palms removed due to health and safety reasons and ongoing maintenance.
The most efficient and cost effective way was to use a crane with a cutter attachment on the end, which reduces the need of a climbing Arborist.
The only thing was we needed to carry this dangerous job out on a Sunday. But luckily we are up with the sparrows on a nice sunny day 😊☀️🌴

A Norfolk pine tree removal last month. The roots where damaging the house foundations. We rigged the lower limbs and carefully craned out the top, thanks to terry from treecare crane hire.
