We cannot be more proud of the role Emma Schmitz took in taking on the design and delivery of this amazing facility, on a one of a kind spot. Emma’s passion for rowing has been matched with her passion and drive to bring her skills in architecture to realise this project for the club. The involvement of so many in the community was so evident at the opening today. The roll call of donations of time, labour, materials, love and late nights is what created this legacy project. 🙌

Assembly OARchitects in training for the upcoming corporate regatta in support of . Over 5 weeks we have been taught to bring out the boat, carefully get in the thing and learn to row it. Here we are cruising past on Lake Hayes.

Kiaora! We have had a great response to our recent 📺 and a lot of questions about our plants in the garden. Here they are ➡️
Each side of the lawn is Vibirunum Davidii. These are planted at 1.5m centres and they can grow easily to that or be managed and renovated. If you plant a mix of males and females you will get blue berries, and they flower in early spring. The hedges on the property boundaries are Portuguese Laurels. The hydrangeas are Hydrangea Paniculata Limelight. The viburnum and the laurels are evergreen. The hydrangeas are not and are trimmed to stick figures in autumn.
