Now that the weather is getting warmer, visit the Wellington waterfront to see HALO – New Zealand’s first public digital sculpture, by artist Gill Gatfield. HALO is a huge virtual monument that floats above Wellington harbour. Accessed via QR code from the waterfront, Te Papa’s Bush City Terrace is just one of three prime spots to catch the breathtaking view.

Commissioned by the Wellington Sculpture Trust, the digital work was gifted to the people to celebrate 40 years of enriching the city through public art.
