A beautiful day in Siena today. We visited the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Medieval Museum and tower. The ceilings alone were amazing! All the photos here are ceilings, the fresco's here were absolutely amazing!

Lake Como Italy.
First few photos are wherever are staying which is the beautifully renovated Palazzo del Vice Re. Complete with beautiful balcony overlooking the lake and original fresco ceiling uncovered during renovations. Meal at local restaurant overlooking the Lake and towns on the other side.
Survived a harrowing bus ride to Como and back today with centimeters only to spare between vehicles, the stone wall and bus! A daily occurrence for the driver bless his driving skills!

Burano and Murano Islands. One famous for its glassware and one for its lace making. Both beautiful with colorful buildings and personalities of their own. Then onto the Giardini Reali Royal Gardens and their art exhibits. One made from many pieces of jewelry set in resin and the oranges are a tapestry and of course I have to find a wee lizard to make my day.😊
