Hi everyone,

Mead and Martin have been undergoing a transformation and will now be known as Genia! We're thrilled to introduce our new name to our valued customers.

Two years ago, Genia acquired Mead and Martin from Alan Martin, and since then, we've been working hard to bring together our specialty timber manufacturing operations under the Genia Architectural Brand. Our goal is to provide an even better experience for you.

During your visits to our Richmond site, you'll notice some changes. We will have new signs at the entrance. But don't worry, our location will remain the same at 20 McPherson Street, and our same wonderful team, led by Jeremy, will continue to provide you with exceptional service. Alan will also remain available to us, as we greatly value his knowledge and experience.

Weatherboard lamination.

Laminating timber together involves glueing together two or more pieces of timber to create a single, larger, and stronger piece of wood.

When done correctly, the seam where the two pieces are laminated should be hard to spot.

Timber Species: Blackwood 🪵
