Here's a 4 piece electropolished stainless steel gate installed this week for a customer in Long bay. The top is horizontal and the bottom matches the slope of the driveway. I lot of time was spent getting the dimensions correct and the finished gates have worked really well All welds were polished smooth and the gate can open using only one centre gate for pedestrian access or all 4 open for vehicles. Each side folds in half so they don't open out into a shared driveway. Internal wires and 3mm braided S/S and match the rest of the balustrades around the house.

Here's a nice foldable aluminium rocket launcher for a new boat fitted last week. The 32mm aluminium tubes are far stronger than the commercial rod holders you can buy. This one had to fold down quickly and easily and fit under the boat cover when in storage. Non hydroscopic nylon inserts were machined for the hinges and stainless to aluminium connections so it's going to last for many many years.

You've got to look out for your mates - Here's a new dingy davit with a removable bait board for my very good friends Andy and Rebecca's launch in gulf harbour. It was a bit of work to ensure the bait board could stay in place once the dingy was lifted out of the water, but the result will make summer on the boat even better!

Here's a large gate commission just completed for a couple in Coatsville. It's cantilevered so it dosnt have to roll over the gravel driveway and is in powder coated aluminum. It's been designed to accept automation which should be fitted shortly.

Here's an enterance gate set completed for a Herald Island family. They went for lighter color than the standard black powdercoat and the results speak for themselves. To stop it ratteling in the wind we fitted a magnetic catch that has worked really well. P.S the photos were taken before the last timber slat was fitted!?

"Hi Dean, I've got a 35 foot long, 1000kg yacht that I want to road transport, but it's 4 meters wide so it's to wide legally take on NZ roads. Could you design a frame it can sit on, then allows it to tilt to 44 degrees so it's only 2.5 meters wide. And you can use this old boat trailer to mount it to". Sure thing - here you go!

Here's another interesting job. A customer with a 7meter Profile fishing boat wanted a cray pot and long line winch unit, that could be easily removed / light / very strong / and with no modifications or holes in the hull. The resulting aluminium unit locates using two of the inbuilt rod holders on the side deck, swivels 180 degrees using non hydroscopic high density plastic sleeves and can be removed or fitted in seconds.
