Just over a years growth on this gorgeous succulent bird bath installation I put together. Such a fun project & look how amazing the colours & textures look mixed. The key to a successful birdbath garden is to keep it under cover - because there is no drainage holes you don’t want it to become waterlogged when it rains. You’re in control! Water it when it needs it, which isn’t that often 🙌 🌵

How gorgeous is this Gladi colour? And how about that backdrop colour of the house? Love 💚 both of them.

5 years of this garden… all gardens are a work in progress. A garden is never ‘finished’. You only get to know a garden after you have spent time working in it. Gardens evolve… We were so excited to arrive here today & see the Rhodo (name unknown but I call it Deep Blood Red) in flower & on repeat it looks amazing. Mixed with Loropetalum, Dietes, Coprosma & Cercis it just fits together well. There are still a few improvements to make here & there but in the mean time, I’m in love with this ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t say I have a favourite season of the year, well maybe not the depths of winter… but at this time of the year it seems I get the most appreciation by staging my front entrance for summer. An eclectic mix of pots, plants & curios adorn the front steps. Yes it means that there is more work & maintenance to do BUT it is all worth it. Enjoy your week everyone 🙌💚🪴🌺
